Everything was fantastic.

Spending Christmas at this authentic ryokan was a great experience. The Japanese breakfast served every morning was a highlight, with delicious and varied options for vegetarians. The location of this traditional hotel is also great, close to the bus stop and with beautiful views of the surrounding area. the onsen provided a true Japanese experience, complete with a private onsen for couples.
The hotel only accepted cash payments, which we were not aware of beforehand. As a result, we had to spend time finding an ATM to withdraw the necessary amount.

This authentic and charming ryokan was the perfect romantic escape for my partner and I. The onsen was a highlight, with private access available. We also loved waking up to a different Japanese breakfast each day. The ryokan's location was convenient, situated walking distance to bus stops and hiking trails.
The ryokan only accepted cash payments, as we were caught off guard with no nearby ATMs. we were not allowed to eat in the room and found some bugs in the onsen bath.

Wonderful Japanese breakfasts every day and helpful staff. Beautiful onsen, both public and private options. Charming alpine atmosphere with a mix of Japanese and Western-style rooms. Convenient location close to bus terminal.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

The hotel's location was convenient, close to a bus stop that led to popular hiking areas. The staff was also helpful. Our room was spacious, with a mix of Western and Japanese styles, and a lovely view of the forest. It had a private onsen for us to use. We enjoyed a tasty vegetarian breakfast, which was a treat.
The hotel's rigid rules such as not allowing eating in the room or moving the beds together was inconvenient and frustrating.
